What You See Isn’t Always What You Got

What You See Isn’t Always What You Got Scripture: John 9:1-3 Things are not always as they appear. In this passage of scripture, the disciples encounter a man blind from birth. They automatically assume that he or his parents had sinned since he was born blind. However, Jesus told them his blindness was so that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

Don’t be so quick to pass judgement on those around you. As a Christian, we must always remember that the same God that wrought a work in us is able to do so in the lives of others. Instead of passing judgement, pray. Instead of making assumptions, minister. Instead of isolating, love. Learn to look at things through the direction of the Holy Spirit. Let the mind of Christ be in you.
