GOD LOVES YOU
Salvation
You can have a personal relationship with God and be saved.
God Loves You
God loves you deeply and personally. His love for you is so great that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to make a way for you to be forgiven and have eternal life.
John 3:16 says:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
No matter what you have done or where you have been, God’s love for you remains.
Sin Separates Us From God
Sin is anything that goes against God’s will and His Word. Because of sin, our relationship with God is broken.
The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Every person has sinned, and sin separates us from God. But God has provided a way for that separation to be removed.
Sin Has a Penalty
Sin carries a consequence. The Bible teaches that the result of sin is death—spiritual separation from God.
Romans 6:23 says:
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
While sin brings death, God offers eternal life as a free gift through Jesus Christ.
Salvation Is Not Earned
No amount of good works, religious activity, or personal effort can save us. Salvation is not something we earn—it is a gift God gives by grace.
Galatians 2:16 reminds us that a person is not justified by works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ.
We are saved by placing our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
God’s Solution for Sin
Because God loves us, He provided the solution to our sin. Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose again so that we could have new life.
Romans 5:8 declares:
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Through Jesus, forgiveness and new life are available to everyone who believes.
Your Response
God has made the way, but each person must respond to Him personally.
The Bible calls us to repent and believe. Repentance means turning away from sin and turning toward God.
Acts 3:19 says:
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.”
Romans 10:9–10 teaches that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
You can pray to God right now, speaking to Him sincerely from your heart—confessing your sin, placing your faith in Jesus Christ, and asking Him to save you.
A New Life Begins
When you place your faith in Christ, God forgives your sins and gives you new life.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Your Next Steps
Your relationship with Christ is just beginning. As you grow in your faith:
• Seek God daily through prayer and reading the Bible
• Become part of a Bible-believing church
• Follow Christ in baptism
• Grow in fellowship with other believers
