Promise Kept

Promise Kept Scripture: 1 Samuel 1: 9-11; 24 It’s funny how we can believe God for things for years yet become unappreciative of them so quickly. Hannah went through before she birthed Samuel. She remembered the ridicule and tears. She remembered the hurt of not being able to have children. Sometimes we need to remember our previous state before the Lord turned things around. Hannah made a vow to the Lord that she would give her son to the Lord for all his life. When Hannah received her breakthrough, she not only remembered her vow. She also honored it. And, because of her appreciation for what God had done, she was not in a hurry to shuck her responsibility to the Lord or her son Samuel. When the Lord begins to manifest your visions and dreams, honor the Lord in your vows to Him. And, appreciate His blessings. He gives them for His Glory – so others could see Him working in your life and draw closer to Him.
