Am I Ashamed?

Am I Ashamed? Scripture: Philippians 1:20-21 There are certain things we associate with status: nice houses, good jobs, expensive cars. Unfortunately, some of these same things have creeped into our identification of spiritual standing as well. Yet, whenever a believer finds himself in a certain situation, we get ashamed. The very fact that Paul was so bold about the Gospel of Jesus Christ continuously found himself in situations below many of our “spiritual status” levels. He wrote this text while behind bars. Yet, even behind bars, he enjoyed more freedom incarcerated than many unjailed do and the Gospel continued to spread. He was not ashamed of the Gospel. There is no time for us to be missing in action. Wherever you find yourself; whatever your circumstances may be, take a bold, unashamed stand for righteousness. Start today. Read Philippians 1
