Knowing the will of God at times is not always easy to discern. We want to know His Will as it relates to questions like: should I take the new position or should I leave the company? Or, should I buy the car or should I fix the one I have now? We can lose a lot of valuable time contemplating decisions and even become overwhelmed during our deliberations.
While God’s Will is certain matters requires much prayer and even fasting, there are some areas in which He has spoken loud and clear. As believers, we are to always have an attitude or gratitude. You are never outside of the Will of God being thankful unto God. Every day in which God allows you and I to wake up, we should look at it as another opportunity to praise the Lord. Even in the most challenging of situations, we should give God thanks.
If you are seeking the Will of God in your life in some area, start by obeying His known Will in all areas. Lift your hands and voice to Him and thank Him for who He is and what He has done already in your life. Soon, you will see that your gratitude will shift your attitude about everything else.
