Parents sometimes struggle through the growing pains of their children. You try to be the soft landing for every fall and actually try to prevent the falls from happening at all. You believe it is your job to cover every pothole they may encounter. Ideally, this sounds great, in actuality, you can’t sheild and protect them from every struggle.
There is a way to guarantee that they have divine protection. Better protection than you can ever give. Consecrate your children to God. When they don’t take your advice or when they get mad at you for disciplining them, trust God to watch over them. He gave them to you–give them back to Him. Trust that the Word of God in them will always guide them. Give them the tools and trust God. They belong to Him.
