Week 26: Thine Is The Kingdom and the Power- July 1 – 7

1Ch 29:11 KJV  Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

Sometimes in our busy lives, we tend to forget where our strength comes from.  We begin to think about the status we have in society, the influence we have over others , our talents and abilities or even the titles we wear.  Yet all of these things mean nothing when we come to a place in life that we can not get past. This is normally the case when we get to the end of our perceived power in situations and circumstances.

The world is  filled with miserable influential people who have no idea where to draw real strength from.   Yet, there is hope for the believer because we do not have to depend upon our own strength. We should know that God is our source of strength and empowerment.  He alone has all power.

If you are seeking to be empowered, focus on the One who holds all power.
