Isaiah 6:8 KJV:  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

There comes a time as believers that we must realize that our ultimate purpose is to glorify God and to be a witness for Him.  Sometimes we don’t tell others of our God because we get stuck looking at ourselves.  We say things like: “I can’t witness for God because I still have my own issues”, or “I’m still hurting from a personal loss so I just can’t right now.”  Our heavenly Father knows what we have been through and is quite familiar with what we are dealing with right now.  His desire is that we go and tell others of Him.

Isaiah struggled with what God wanted Him to do.  He was to go and warn God’s people of impending danger if they did not turn their hearts to God.  These were people who seemed to have things going well.  Isaiah couldn’t see past the death of King Uzziah and his own failings.  God would have none of it, ministering to Isaiah and eliminating every excuse Isaiah could offer.  Now, that same Isaiah, once He had an encounter with God, realized he no longer could stay where he was and tells God: “…send me, I will go.”

Someone out there is waiting for you to obey God and share His message with them.  When you realize that God has forgiven you, equipped you and saved you for His purpose and plan, you won’t be able to stay where you are.  Trust God and go share His message of love, forgiveness and salvation with others.
