Galatians 6:8-9 KJV For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
In today’s fast paced world, the day goes by before we can even blink. We are so busy being busy that at the end of the day, end of the week, end of the month-it’s hard to articulate what difference we have accomplished for the cause of Christ.
Some people would say, I help the poor, I give money, toiletries, and whatever I can. I even go and volunteer at shelters during the holidays. I am doing my part. It is easy to give of your resources and your resources are needed. Giving of your flesh can help someone with their physical needs, but giving of your spirit can help people with their spiritual needs. People going through various situations need you to stop and listen to them and share the love of Christ with them. You can share the Word of God and how It has changed your life. Others will see your devotion to God and that may be what they need for everlasting comfort, not just the socks that wear out over time and need to be replaced.
Make a spiritual difference along with the physical difference. Pray over every toothbrush you donate and the person that will receive it. The difference you make will be eternal.
