Week 21: Bright or Dim – May 27 – June 2

Jas 1:17 KJV  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

When God manifests Himself in your life, He does so in such a way that you won’t confuse His Message or blessings.  A lot of people flock to dimly lit plans in hope that the shadiness of them will work out anyway. It may be investing money in a shady deal, hiring someone to do your taxes who has a record of unscrupulous financial dealings, or even dating someone who seems to be a good person but doesn’t acknowledge Jesus as Lord.

As believers, we must always seek the bright path of Christ.  When we choose to walk closer to God, His light gets brighter in us.  But, when we choose to stray away from Him, His Light gets dimmer and dimmer.

Is the path you are on brightly lit by God or dimming as you depend upon Him less?
