Week 15: Witness – April 15 – 21

Acts 1:8 KJV But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

You have likely met someone who is not convinced that salvation matters. They have probably expressed to you that they do not attend church or plan on taking their children to church because they don’t believe that God is real. You may even have this person as a friend and you don’t feel comfortable talking about your faith in their presence. You need to live your faith life so that you can be a witness to the power of God. If you do not share Christ with them, don’t think that someone else will.

When they ask you how you make it through trials without being bitter or angry at the God you serve. Witness to them that God is not a genie that you rub and your life turns out perfect. God is the Savior and the Deliverer. Trial after trial, God has delivered and if He did it once, I know He can do it again. You not only witness with your mouth, but you witness with your walk, your facial expressions, how you handle tough situations, how you handle victories and how you live your life.

You witness when you turn from sin when sin is the expected norm. We cannot casually stand by and let the unsaved live without a witness when we are in their presence daily.
