Has someone ever made you so mad that you have not forgiven them? Maybe they never asked for forgiveness. Maybe they did and you rejected their request. Maybe you want to forgive them, but feel that if you do, someone else will feel betrayed by you.
Hatred, unforgiveness, and disgust are hard burdens you don’t have to bear. What a witness it would be to God if you let your guard down and cry out to Him to help you forgive. What a witness of the power of God to the person that you forgive, when they know the impact their action had on your life. The person that has hurt you, need God and whether they acknowledge it or not, need your forgiveness.
By forgiving others, not only do we grow, but the person we forgive have an opportunity to grow also. Growth and maturity comes thru experiences–good and bad. Think about the impact you can have by forgiving someone. That person; as a result, may forgive someone and the chain can continue infinitely.
Forgive so your walk with God and the Kingdom can be strengthened.
